Keep on travelling - a bit more local though

We have been back almost 3 months now. Strangely enough, we still have vivid memories of the whole trip. I went through the task of selecting pics for the photo album. So far I have printed 350 photos, but i think it will be 400 by the time we’re done. It really was good to be back home thoug, in particular after that bloody dengue fever. It is horrendous and took us over 2 weeks to get it out. I went back to work in April and it was good to see again the peoplw we had left behind. Mark has found a new job that keeps him travellling in France and Prague. As it was his birthday 2weeks ago I took him on a week end away in Jersey. We stayed at the Biarritz Hotel on st Brelade Bay. The hotel itself was very clean and decent. The “problem” is that we did not know it was heavily linked to the church and full of OAPs. Luckily the weather was on our side as well, so we visited the whole island. There are some beautiful beaches and historic places. We finished witht he Jersey tunels, built during WW2. Incredible. We really like Jersey. It felt like France, with its food, french street names and atmosphere, but invaded by the brits, with the cars on the wrong side and imperial measures. It was the first time we went away since going back and although it was good to settle down and get our stuff back. We found some things that we forgot about and i realised how much stuff I had I did not really need, so the local charity shop loved it. I have put some pics of Jersey. Enjoy.
