Fraser Island

I just came back from a three day trip to Fraser Island, the biggest sand island in the world. It was a wonderful trip. Me and my travel mates were grouped up with six other people, three other Germans, two English and one Italian. We all climbed in our 4WD truck and were underway. The island is amazing. We bumped around the remote roads through the rainforests and over the beaches. Over the last three days, we swam in warm, crystal blue lakes with white sandy shores and hiked around the rainforests. The island is known, in part, for the most pure strain of dingos. We saw so many especially throughout dinner. One local described them best, they did look like hungry dogs. Everyone was still alittle cautious when they were around. We didn't bother them and they kept there distance, a good balance. We drifted down a small creek and checked out a 1935 ship wreak on the coast. Because of the box jellyfish and blue bottles, we were warned not to venture out into the surf. One local said that a 27-ft hammer head shark was caught off the shore. Its head was 7 ft wide! I don't know if its true but it makes for an impressive story! *Smile* I felt so fortunate because the group all got along really well. It made for a wonderful experience.

Sounds like an amazing adventure. I'm so proud of you going out and doing all these fun things!!! Keep up the travel spirit, and squeeze every bit out of every day you have out there. The sun is starting to creep out and warm up the midwest, so your endless summer theory is definitely going to happen!

Love!

Lovely,
your trip sounds truly full of awe and the apparent and hidden wonders of this world.
The previous post was right. Squeeze every ounce of love from life and just take in the wonderous love that comes from within the world.

The immaculate blue waters you speak of makes my soul flutter and heart yearn to be thrust into a similar watery environment.
All of the life and love that spring forth like so much honey from bees honeycomb, coating this world with joys from beyond.
I myself am planning a trip to the most loviest place in the world. I hope my tales of discovery, hope, joy, love, wonderment, awe, beauty, are comparable to those of yours.
The travel spirit is a wise spirit, she is a loving spirit guide who will take you to the far ends of the world when you submit your life and love for her knowing ways, wisdom, wonder and love.
For some she is beauty encapsulated in the form of a knowing mother; for others *myself included* she is a strong willed woman who stakes her claim and slays those who obstruct her path; but slays with love and befuddlement of joys that surpass the wisdom of those who have faltered in the eyes of the pedestrian mentality signifying love of a day once lost.

Travel on sister.
I will be reading with an open heart, mind, soul and love.

Hi, Dad and I have finally serttled into our new apt. It is different from living in a big home. With all the trials of moving, I have not had time to send a care package. Can you tell me where to send one. By the way, Bill was a great help with all our moving activities. Glad you are having some great experiences. Love, MOM
