Leaving Sydney

So much has happened since we left New Zealand. I've been staying in a hostel downtown. Tessa and i ventured out to a pub the first night and i got my fill of boot-stompin' country songs. It was a fun time. I've been a tourist, walking around the city, takeing pictures of the Beautiful sights. The Sydney Opera House is amazing to see up close. The entire outside is covered with ceramic tile that makes it glitter in the sunlight. Hopefully my pictures turned out.
We wandered through the city's botanical gardens... Very tranquill. All except for the flying foxes, otherwise known as 1 foot tall bats (with a 1.5 to 2 ft wing span!) There were HUNDREDS of them! All perched up in the trees above the trail. At night, we saw them fly off into the night with the cathedral as their backdrop, very irrie but awesome!
While pricing bus tickets for my trip up north, we stumbed upon a ride notice. I'm going on another roadtrip!! woohoo! we leave tomorrow (thurs) and are taking about a month to travel the east coast. The driver is a German guy named Christian. Tessa's going to travel with me as well! I'm excited to explore!
