Hi All! I'm coming to the end of my journey here in New Zealand. This past week has been pretty interesting. I was lucky enough to get a hold of Chris, an old friend from Santa Cruz. He is from Christchruch and lives away from the city with his beautiful family. They welcomed us into their home for the weekend. It was SO nice to have a comfy home and good conversations... For those who know Chris, he is married about a year and has one little boy, just under 2 years, and another on the way. Maria, his wife is REALLY sweet. needless to say, it was great seeing everyone!
After that nice visit, we came back to the city to find that no one answered our postings for our car for sale. Getting anxious to sell in the slowing market, we lowered the price. We got five calls the next day! A French traveler bought him for just under what we paid. I am SO relieved to have that investment back! We're meeting more and more people who are having trouble. Soon enough, i'll be in Sydney!! I'm so excited!!
