Destination: Rugby

After the skydive, we traveled through the Milford Sound for a few days. Its an Amazingly beautiful area that gets sun 50 days a year. WE were not there during those times but we were their and were determined to experience a bit of its beauty. We took a hike through the rain forest to a flooded lake. In this case, it wasn't the destination but the journey to it that was remarkable. Tessa and I were SOAKED after the hike. From the rain and the rivers we had to tramp through. It was really really pretty. It took us a few days to dry off.
WE drove to Curio Bay in the Catlins to see the southern most tip of NZ. The weather followed us, making it a cozy day indoors. WE were able to see HEctor dolphins from the hostel. They are a rare breed only found in this area. At dusk, we went in search of penguins (yellow eyed penguins-endangered). After a hour or so getting hailed and rained on, we saw TWO! They are SO CUTE!

The next morning, we drove to Dunedin to catch a Super Twelve Rugby match. Its a competition involving NZ, Aust, and South Africa. WE saw the Highlanders (southern NZ (where we are) ) versus the South African Bulls. Tessa convinced me to paint my face. I painted three big bands of paint over my eyes and TEssa painted her entire face!! WE got all decked out! Although it was raining alittle, that didn't stop the fun. WE went out to the bars afterwards, being the only ones still having bright yellow and blue face paint on... that was a fun experience. I was recognized by someone watching the game saying that i was on TV! cool, heh?!

No one cares skip.
You don't need to come here anymore.
Go enjoy the world, take it in, and you will see fault in your current path.

I am going to ignore you from now on, until you have something meaningful to say.

It all sounds so lovely!
If you have a chance while in NZ I would strongly suggest visiting Wairere Boulders or the Otago Peninsula. It is most truly heaven!
You might have already taken in these lovely locales, but if not, you should experience them.
All of the beauty from them will certainly fill your soul like it has mine.

Skippo, the words "beautiful" and "amazing" are wonderous words to use, there is so much substance to convey. Would you be so embarrassed if I said you use the word "a" too much. LOL!!!!
How does it feel? Now make with something meaningful or be on your way.
Take Donna's advice. Breathe in the world and you will see a new path.

Oh lucky day!! I feel truly blessed to have stumbled upon this sight completely by accident and be allowed the pleasure of reading about the indescribable beauty that our "hero" Anne has been describing. I noticed that I am one of the few males who have posted comments on the site. I have gathered that Bill must be the lucky boyfriend. Lucky to have found such a wordsmith for a ladyfriend. Anne, you should really consider a job in journalism or writing (if you aren't already a famous novelist!!!). The way you describe the Hector dolphins as a "rare breed" and the yellow-eyed penguins as both "endangered" and "SO CUTE" was not only poignant, but also hilarious. You, Anne, could very easily take your act on the road. To think that someone could make up animals with such clever description is beyond me. Come on...a "hector Dolphin", a "yellow-eyed penguin"??? Clever names for made up creatures. Nothing funnier. Good luck on both your continued adventures and your mastery of the English language. You are a pleasure to behold. ...."a couple days to dry off"....YOU KILL ME!!!
