A visit to the outdoor exhibit (showcasing a preserved section of the Berlin Wall) leaves me cold - literallly - at the atrocities of the past while simultaneously acknowledging horrors occurring in present-day realities.

Walls = border control, keeping some in but others out, are still being used today... there are walls around fortified Quebec City but another kind of wall in Belfast... there are also peace walls in Belfast and Palestine but what of that? Rigidly-maintained, borders are controlled now more than ever.

When will these walls come down?
