With ever changing TSA regulations how can one be sure what to pack, what to carryon, and what to send ahead?

One solution, so I thought, was to just send it all ahead, “forward my luggage” as they say. There are several companes that ship luggage and what i’ve found is that some are better than others. Over the past 2 years i’ve actually tried sports advance, express luggage, clear luggage, and luggage forward. All of these companes will get your luggage from your door to your hotel and back.

Ask about minimums, fees, guarantees, and insurance if you’re thinking about giving them a try. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Renting Islands

I am planning a corporate event for some top executives and I am investigating private island rentals. So far I have had little success looking for island rentals online. I hear that one can rent a private island for about 40K per week which typically includes full service. Additional charges are applied for food and alcohol. I am looking for an island with nice beaches, fishing boats, Jet Skis, and enough rooms for about 10 - 15 couples. I found this article on Travelisious but I would like more info.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a family trip that is acutally doable? I have two young kids and I want to go on vaction but it just doesnt seem possible.
