I enjoyed reading your account of Xian. It was our kind of place too. Many thanks for the great day we spent together looking at Qin’s legacy. It was a day Cathy, Jayne and I will not forget for a long time. The camera is fine and we got many great photos. I later picked up a fake jade bangle for RMB5 for my daughter back in Xian. Xian is a great place especially the city walls which we biked round and the Moslem quarter is defiantly worth a visit too, not to forget all those inexpensive but delicious restaurants as well.

Hi Suze, enjoy reading your travels, but find myself a bit tongue tied in answering
As your friend wrote, our weather has been awful[so you make hay while the sun shines, eh!] I must say it's great the way you adapt to each place you arrive at
Glad that your friend got her camera back
it was so kind of the driver, wasn't it?
Welltha's it for now, keep blogging and just enjoy yourself.
God go with you always, love from Angela xxx

You will be sorely missed tonight (saturday) at our Eurovision-esque party. Will raise a glass to you.

Isn't it alarming how much of an influence Blue Peter actually has on young, impressionable minds. Think most of my general knowledge is based on what I've heard via that programme.

Sounds like you are having a wonderful time. Keep safe.

Hi Suze

Really enjoyed this posting and so glad your friend got her camera back, not for the monetary value, but for the memories within.
I am beginning to think you are a real foodie, so maybe you can give me some suggestions on my latest posting on the Mounsey website.

Love

Hey Suze!

Sounds like your having a fabulous time! The locals seem very welcoming and friendly.

You may be interested to know (or maybes not!) that Big Brother started last night .... arrrggghhhh they've picked even stranger people than any of the years before (if that were at all possible). Fake boobs, tirrets, chav, even an Asian Lorraine Kelly man-bloke type thing!

Anyways would love to speak to you soon - do you have a contact telephone number where you are?

love

Hi Suze:
At long last our computer has been fixed - have had real withdrawal symptoms!! You still seem to be having a great time - bet you were pleased to be picked up at 2.30 a.m. in the morning!!
Seems you're meeting some really nice people along the way too. You really must have taken notice of all those Blue Peter programmes!! I'm very impressed.
Saw your mum on Sunday which was nice. Just got back from a week in Majorca - very relaxing and good weather. Missing you lots. Take good
care - All my love - Auntie Rosemary x

Some further recollections of Blue Peter for you... several aluminum can appeals, making Tracey Island out of old toilet rolls, Percey Thrower (RIP) in the Blue Peter Garden, that strict woman who trained the blue peter dogs and the ever so annoying Mark Currie. Oh and I think that coat hangar tinsel candle holder contraption was called an advent crown.

Can't wait to see some more pictures, especially of the Terracotta Warriors.

Love,
Michael

PS Every time I read a blog entry I'm left with huger pangs. I hope you're getting some recipes!
