Remembering Dahab, part I

Hi you all!!! just so you know I’m safe in Kathmandu after 83 hours of journey, but that’s another story.
I really want to start telling you about Asia, but I have to finish with Africa first, belive me.

So, I’ll start…

Ok, I spent 11 amazing nights in Dahab. I did my advanced diving course and I relax and party a lot. I met very nice people, who made it very easy to stay so long.

Dahab is beautiful. Just imagine a very turquoise lake surrounded by very arid and desert mountains that at sunset turn into this amazing pink/red color. Well if you could imagine that, you’ve imagine a small bit what Dahab or the Sinai looks like.

I couldn’t stay on the beach all day, actually there’s no nice beach, but that’s why you go under water!!!
The coral reef is awesome, is full of fish and the diving condition are excellent.

I also went on a desert safari thru the Sinai desert. It was amazing!! It was my first time on the desert and I loved it. It’s so quiet and peaceful. We walked thru the coloured canyon and the white canyon, and had lunch at an Oasis in a beduinian village.

My good friend Greg though, wrote a very accurate post on his blog discribing the cycle that we do almost every day, to read it click here, upps! sorry Greg for the ilegal copyright 🙂 !!!

Don’t skip the pictures though, belive me it cost a lot of time and effort to upload them in Nepal 😉

cheers
