Rome sure wasn’t built in a day

A big dirty smelly city is one side of Rome, while the other side is a wonderous site of ancient history, existing for thousands of years. If I told you everything I did in Rome it would be much too difficult, a map is an easier way to explain. Basically I did a whole lot of walking. Rome wasn’t built in a day, but I sure did conquer it in a day.

Once I got the tram, train, and plane to Milan Malpensa, I then took a bus to Milan Centrale, where I took a train to Genoa, and waited for Lija and Sandi to fly in from London to Genoa and bus into the city.

The last week in Berlin…

I have finished with Berlin. The last two weeks were pretty hectic, what with people leaving after four weeks and then even more after five weeks. In the last week we were down to ten people, but we barely saw each other unless effort was made.

Planes, trains and automobiles!

On Monday our classes have gone back to the earlier hours for this week, which is great because it gives us more time to do things before our excursions. I also told my group our meeting was going to be at 8pm, so I had a lot of free time.
