Self - realization …eh?
Sunday, January 1st, 2006WooHoo!!! I ‘ve finally got my own blog , ready to begin my long-awaited trip . This is so exciting yet unnerving, i can feel my heart beat increasing as im typing this . I am getting butterflies just by imagining the moment i set off … anyway, I better do a proper intro before i let my imagination run amok.
Self - realization . . . eh? What’s that all about ? I hear you say. It’s basically just like any other soul-searching journeys people often take that are packed with self-discoveries. You learn a bit more about yourself, what you want to do and where you want to be in the future. . . i know , i know, you may argue that you CAN do THAT while you are sitting at home watching TV , but why not have a little bit of fun while comtemplating your future. As the saying goes, ‘the world is your oyster’.
Or may be it’s just an excuse to get away from the monotonous and uneventful life of mine. Perhaps there’s no need to justify the ‘Just Do It’ attitude afterall. You asked , ‘Why?’ I say , ‘Why not?’
I will hopefully begin my trip on 1st March 2006, leaving London and fly to San Francisco , the full itinerary shall be added on later on. This is the place where I update my travel journal as I experience various culture shocks, meeting people from different walks of life and upload any nice photos as i see fit.
