Kids around the world
I’ve said it a number of times, I’m happy that I’m an aunt and not a mother. I instead am in awe of what mothers do – and their patience level is phenominal. Motherhood just doesn’t seem to fit me, yet that doens’t mean that I don’t enjoy kids. In fact – I love kids. I was doing some photo editing lately and came across a bunch of my photos of kids from around the world. Happy, sad, confused, timid, confident – all kinds. I chose one of my favorite kid pictures from each country that I visited and put it here, interesting to see them all together.

I remember the little guy in the green poke a dot shirt from China. Right after the picture you took, I think it was probably his grandma that took an old handkerchief and wiped his little snotty nose. After all Grandmas know that you must be presentable for pictures. This little guy really liked you. Don’t believed he ever smiled, but was serious and inquisitive.

These are beautiful. Kids allow the most intimate, real photographs – instantaneous biographies, almost. Thanks for sharing these!
