Day One - Waiting for the plane in the rain
This is the first of many entries in my travel blog. Eventually there will be high tech things like links and pictures, but this will have to do for now.
I leave in mere hours and we are still under a tornado watch in Dallas. Hopefully my flight will leave on time so I can make my connecting flight to China. I will keep you posted…..

Nice of you to at least call to say good-bye, ya bastard!
I would have loved to have met you at DFW airport to see you off, but I was at the VA Hospital all day getting my broken leg checked out, and getting more pain meds.
By now, you’re probably almost to LA, assuming that’s where you’re leaving from. I’ll miss you, Bro. Have fun, but be careful around crowds.
I look forward to many more of these blogs and pictures as well.

I’m still living in Singapore, and should be here for a while. Did my own traveling last year in the region, so may have some tips depending on where you go. Highly recommend Mongolia.
Anyway, if you need a break from the road, Singapore is a nice oasis for a few days, and you are welcome to a bed at my place. Drop me a line anytime.
