Holy crap
Is ALL of LA on fire? My browser opened to pictures of Catalina on fire. Which, funnily enough, is where I was for the “apocalyptic fall of ‘03″ as Jon puts it. Jon was also nice enough to let me know that the animals in the zoo are ok. 
Went to kings park this morning and hiked around the nature walk. King’s park is, apparently, the most visited tourist site in Western Australia. Its a big park overlooking the city, and in addition to botanical gardens and sculted lawns and fountains, it has a huge chunk of wilderness bushland. So that was fun. Then I saw 300 in an historic art deco theater. Fun fun. Now I’m uploading photos from madagascar to webshots, so check em out.
