La Paz, hogar de 1 millon de Paceños, situado a 3640 m.s.n.m. en el altiplano rodeado a ambos lados por los Andes. La Paz fue elegida por los españoles dentro de un profundo Valle para proteger de los fuertes vientos del altiplano, literalmente es una ciudad que te quita el aliento …!!!, debido a sus cuestas y por su altitud.
Eng: La Paz, home to about 1million Paceños, as they call themselves, is situated at about 3.640 metres above sea level! High up in the Altiplano, a broad plateau flanked on both sides by the Andes. As La Paz is built into a steep valley, on both sides of the main street are steep streets which make this a breath taking city (pun intended!!!!)
