James & Quene travelling around the World

Hi all, well we took a break of a week, from the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, heading across the River Plate to neighbouring Uruguay (again) this time we headed further east, to the capital Montevideo (pronounced Montay Vidayo not Montyvideo!).

ESP: Hola tod@s,debido a que teíamos que dejar Argentina, decidios tomar una semana de descanso del ajetreo de Buenos Aires, cruzamos el Rio de la Plata de nuevo, rumbo a Uruguay (una ves más). Viajamos a Colonia y de allí a Montevideo.

Every St. Patrick’s Day we’ve celebrated has been a cracker, so we made sure Paddy’s Day in BA would be no different!.
We had heard that they like to celebrate here, so we decided to join in, we got face paints, wigs and funny hats - all Irish colours of course!

Last year we should have been watching U2 play live in Auckland, but due to a last minute cancellation, we ended up in the Irish Bars, doing what most people do when celebrating Paddy’s Day, take a wild guess at what that might be…mmm…! And this year was no different, with plenty of Irish Bars dotted around the Retiro part of downtown BA! [read on]
