ENG: Welcome to Calafate, a small town on the shores of Lago Argentina (the largest lake in South America) , which serves as the gateway to the Argentina´s Glaciers National Park http://www.losglaciares.com/en/index.html . From here we took a day cruise around the lake visiting several glaciers; Onelli, Spegazzini and the awesome Upsala, the largest of the National Park, a mammoth of a glacier, 10 km wide and some 50km long, covers more area than Buenos Aires city! The second glaciar trip was to the much more accessible, and therefore mor famous glacier, Perito Moreno, named after Francisto Moreno, the geologist who first surveyed the area, but never actually got to see this particular glacier which bears his name.
