How do you spend 20+ hours in a plane?
Well that’s how long it takes to go from Frankfurt to Singapore and then on to Auckland, NZ. Yes, we finally left the oncomming cold of fall in Europe to get to the warm spring of summer. We left Frankfurt on Monday at noon, and arrived in New Zealand at midnight of Tuesday.
We didn’t get much sleep on the plane, but that wasn’t a bad thing. Singapore airlines still keeps the luxury in flying, so we got plenty of meals, snacks and drinks. They were bringing me beers faster than I could drink them! The chairs were as comfortable as aircraft seats can be, but they had in seat TV’s with your choice of movies, TV shows, gameboy games, etc. I think we each watched around 6 or 7 different movies, and TV shows as well.
So right now, we’re just chilling in Auckland, relaxing today after doing laundry. Tomorrow we start exploring the city, and maybe even looking for a new home/job/car or anything else we plan to do in the next 3 months we’re here.
