Bye, Bye, Miss Vanna White…
We have some unfortunate news, this time with our sweet home of the past four months. As our time in New Zealand is coming to an end, and we weren’t too sure of the flotability of a 20 year old van across the Tasman sea, we decided to sell Vanna. She sure was good to us. So we drove to Auckland at the beginning of March, and spent three agonizing days in the indoor parking lot known as the Backpacker market.
Luckily, at the end of the third day, a nice couple from San Francisco decided to take her out for a test drive, have her wobbly mechanical bits checked out, and decided to take her. She got some new mechanical parts, a new tire, and she’s out on the road again, terrorizing New Zealand again. Not often can someone say they bought a vehicle with over 600,000km AND sold it later! Best of Luck Vanna!

All the best, you two, as you head out from NZ. Take care and hope you get to spend a little time in Australia as well as Fiji. We look forward to catching up whenyou get back to North America.

Bula!
It was great to spend time with you in Fiji and see how well Eero has come along after the accident. All the best on wrapping things up in NZ and on to Aussieland! See you in the summer. Vinaka!
Love to you both!
