…actually I’m a small gal in a big world and an ugly city…I’m a tourist and not a traveler for the only reason that this city cannot and will not leave a mark on me. And God is my witness I don’t want to leave a mark on it, either.  I downright despise this place and the people living here. I cannot understand the dialect …I don’t feel comfortable outside…I am used to the west, where people are well behaved and you can understand what they say.

Both me and my husband are counting the days left…6 and we are home! I miss the noises on the street leading to the market; I miss my neighbors who talk wt a slightly Hungarian accent; I miss our budgies and our 5.1 sorround system! I miss cooking…I miss the nice weather and beautiful bank of the river. I miss playing darts….

On Wednesday night (Nov 5) we finally ended up at the Mall; it’s small compared to the ones in Bucharest but at least you can have a bit of fun. Namely: bowling, pool, snooker…

Of course, there are stores and bunch of fast food places, which we carefully avoided (both the stores and the eateries).

It was fun but it wasn’t cheap. Still, if you need to relax, you can’t ask for more [ok, I can but let’s keep it for when we go back home!]
