General Description of Beach- Jalama Beach County Park is a picturesque 28 acre park, situated in Central California, the northern most portal for surfing in Santa Barbara County. The cost line is backed by cliffs and lush.

Surf, Tides, Climate, Water Temp: Three sports are recognized here as surf sports: the Beachbreak, Cracks and Tarantulas. The currents can be bad, it’s all shifty, semi-hollow sandbars best on a high tide with clean, peaky swells; the place holds size, but getting out becomes a problem (or outright impossibility).

Very nice sceneries and great sun sets provide best places for photography.
Additional activities include whale-watching, birdwatching, nature photography, rock hounding, and fishing the surf or rock outcroppings for perch, cabezon, kelp, bass, or halibut.
