Random post abt Romania
Romania is my country and although it’s not 100% perfect I will always defend it.
I’ve been living in this country all my life! I’ve never been robbed, I’ve never lost anything! I took the laptop wt me in the “infamous” train from Arad to Bucharest and i still have the laptop -get the point?! I’ve used the minibuses to get from Bucharest to Calarasi and no one robbed us or asked us for our papers…is it b/c we are Romanians?
on the other hand, i’ve been to Budapest and seen the worst of their kind as well but never had any problems. yes, i know “some” Hungarian but most of all, i know how to be attentive and keep my eyes wide open!
yes, i had mediocre travel experiences and sometimes preferred not to enter a museum/church b/c it was too expensive but i didn’t bitch abt it in a widely spread article! yes,sometimes the public transport isn’t at its best but that’s when you can ASK and get answers. and trust me, someone will be able to help you IN ENGLISH!
bottom line? all countries have their problems but it’s not nice to trash them in full frontal view!
