Changing vacation plans yet again…
…well i have to admit it: the Eur/Usd exchange ration really hit us hard. Not to mention our friends bailing out on us so what should have been $44 for 2 persons, return [half of the gas money] ….would add up to $200…add the fact that accommodation is up to $400 (4 nights, 2 persons) and it doesn’t include meals and sightseeing and i’m seeing red spots…
so since we ended up without the possibility to share some of the expenses [it’s cheaper and easier to cook in bulk for 4 than for 2…etc ; if we have been there by car we wouldn’t have to pay for transport to Schonbrunn and etc] i just canceled my vacation in Vienna …obviously i’m super mad 
ugh
i did some research in Romania and it’s off season in the mountains and shoulder season at the sea-side which means i found some villas at $30/2 persons/room! transport is about $30 one way per person so that shouldn’t break our budget that much.
hopefully later in the year the euro/usd ratio goes down b/c it’s horrible right now!
