A week in Budapest for only $114 (2 persons) :)

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

Yes, i’m planning to go back to the city I LOVE! Hence the research.
I ended up finding a totally neat place Called Dominik Panzio
After researching for a long while i managed to find something located quite well, right near Heroes Square and the Zoo :) oh yeah and at 600 meters from the station where the train from Arad arrives ;)

Obviously the next step is to check out the train prices (there is a direct train from Arad to Budapest).

Valentines 2008: where will you be?

Friday, January 25th, 2008

Valentines city breaks are becoming more and more popular. The old time favorites -Rome, Paris and Venice - are now “competing” with new cities like Reykjavik, Monaco and Barcelona, according to Holidays-direct.co.uk.

Well then, how abt you? Where will you be on Valentines day?

My initial plan was to head to one of the Romanian mountain resorts. I say initial b/c things change a bit when i found out that i have to turn in my dissertation by Feb 28. So most likely I’ll take my hubby to our fav restaurant and/or cafe (see the post below abt Hi Cafe in Arad). But I’m not giving up on the holiday gateway though. It would just have to happen later in the year.
