Dec 1 is Romania’s National Day!
We celebrate the Union of 1918.
In every city there are celebrations, concerts, military parades.
Of course the biggest military parade will be in Bucharest.
In Arad, the town where I live, there will be concerts (and I bet a military parade but I never go there LOL)…this year: Iris!:)
Please be careful when using Raiffeisen Bank ATMs or POSs in Romania!
i’ve got a MasterCard debit card issued by a US bank and i used it in 2 Raiffeisen Bank Locations in Arad. Severl days AFTER using it , i realized that there are 2 transactions made from Raiffeisen Bank which i DIDN’T make. My US bank is still trying to get my money back!
Also, today i just realized that although i deactivated that particular card and got a new one, the same bank made another illegal transaction on my old card….
total loss so far $100!!!!! seriously, this bank is THE WORST. Please avoid it and i’m serious. I don’t care if the Raiffeisen Bank PR gets mad at me but i’m sick of finding that they get money from my card without my permission!
