Short Days
Welcome to Winter! Current conditions in Minneapolis: 14 deg F. Sunny (“but we ain’t seen the sunshine since I don’t know when” ). Sunrise 7:49 a.m. Sunset 4:34 p.m. (a modest 8 hrs. and 45 min. of daylight). Anyway, it’s 80 deg. and sunny at Kilimanjaro (at least in Moshi). Obviously, it gets colder as you go up the mountain - I read that the freezing line was at about 15,000 feet (so that means only a couple days at freezing temps or below). Days are short, nights are long. Only 4 more days, and I’m gone!
