Hi I Am new to kuwait ..hows kuwait according to u and how long u r intending to stay here ? which is the best place i should go to know more about kuwait and its people. thanks ..keep writing !
Hi Sree,
I’m no longer in Kuwait, was just there for 3 days in early October.
Kuwait City was an interesting and energetic city with very friendly people. I visited the Old Souk, Kuwait Towers, the Memorial Museum and the Science Centre. All good.
The Old Souk was an interesting place to just hang about, browse the markets and people watch. Same for parts of the Corniche (Arabian Gulf Road). Lots of people walking, jogging or fishing along there at night.
If you don’t mind the heat, I’d recommend walking along the whole Corniche (both the Science Centre and the Kuwait Tower are on this street). Great restaurants along there as well. A restaurant called the Fish Market looked especially great. Didn’t have time to try it, just poked my head in and had a look at all the fresh fish.
There’s also Al-Boom, a restaurant in a boat that I didn’t have time to try, but that I heard others recommend.
