Hospital visit, good food

Saturday, June 28th, 2008

Wow. These past few days in Beijing have been very eventful for many reasons. For one, my brother went to the hospital! On Wednesday night, Gustav was feeling a lot worse. His vomiting wasn’t stopping, and he felt pain in his stomach. So, scared, we brought him to the hospital. We took a cab ride home (cab rides in China are so ridiculously scary! Lanes barely exist, every one cuts people off, everyone honks!) Beibei and I had lunch, and he served me beer, no questions asked. Apparently there’s no drinking age in China. The rest of the day was spent at the hostel. [read on]
