I completely stopped golfing about ten years ago. I suppose I had to because I had little money. This reminds me of 2001-2002. I had 75 $ per month for living. There is much more to say about that school-year. Instead I’ll return to golfing.

I am looking forward to the Ryder Cup this fall. The older players like Mark O’meara are not inluded in the mix so to speak. It should be a battle I bet.

On the other hand, music has stopped. In fact I am only selling my guitars to pay for my new golf clubs. I have little time for it.

I decided to socialize more or read books. I am currently reading Dispatches by Michaek Herr. It is a far-away story about an enlightened journalist. The author is oviously trying to write how war makes you mad. A similar less dramatic story is Heart of Darkness.

There is a City Hall forum about municipal waste management until eight on tuesday. I hope there is a will to use it for biofuel production instead of cellulose.

I saw enough live music this winter: Veruca Salt’s version of “Bullet with Butterfly Wings” and Champion shook the foundation before The Hives blew the roof off the building.

I bought a PSP to relax when I am not working in my apartment.

This is beautiful writing because it makes eyes wide-awake. I stopped and enjoyed my self this weekend. I also had a few beers watching t.v. @ the brew pub downtown.

I moved to Regina a couple of months ago. I am continuing to write my story and play guitar. I am bothered by the lot of litter but I persevere.

I am spending the day returning to Regina and watching curling live. The weather is turning and hopefully the snow will be gone soon. I want to save the save the snowflakes like kittens but then the reality of cold sidewalks breaks it. I like living in the city although I am mostly disgusted.

I am basically settled in Regina: I have an apartment with stuff, work and a third place (but not Starbucks).

I am content with my excellent writing skills.

I may settle in Saskatoon. I got sophisticated and developed some hobbies there. Now I may just take it easy in BC. I have an espresso machine @ home so I can make good coffee there and a few six-strings, computer and car.

Winter is ending too.

I am definately overwhelmed by my responsibilities and looking forward to a trip west this christmas. I am then planning to take some university courses and continue working in the coffee shop part-time. I am now working wednesday - sat. mornings. I am living in different part of Saskatoon and not too scared. The weather is depressing although I am managing to make time for outdoor activities like walking and shovelling the drive. I may try skiing in BC and pinot noir wine. Then I want to go to the beach.

Today I had a good morning and did laundry. Then I walked too exercise in the gym. There are free-weights and cardio machines and tv and coffee. I bought a cup of coffee with milk and began lifting weights. I went back outside and sat on the bus to work and read a magazine. It was enjoyable. At work I cleaned alot of garbage. I went to my basement suite. I reflected on my couch and wrote some. Then I played guitar and the child upstairs bothered me. I just wanted to cook Tea but I discussed the story she is writing. I didn’t tell her about the story I am writing. Then I stir-fried beef and brocolli and onion and rice. I don’t know how to use chop sticks properly but I am learning in the “not really big city”.

No telephone booths, stiff collars, necessary noise, language and clean skin in the north. I had another adventure canoeing and fishing which was peaceful and now my adventure in Saskatoon continues. I am gonna take a dinner and talk about it at my moms tonight. I am also busy seeking jobs.

Today my feet were rested and the walk to the outhouse felt like I was back inside a house in New Zealand. Then I went back inside and started a fire to warm the air. Then I put on the propane hotplate a pot of coffee and some Denver sandwiches for breakfast. After enjoying the warmth I went outside and tried fishing. I got my line caught and had to get the canoe to unhook my Plug.

After fishing, I stayed in the porch and cooked some hamburger melts on the barbeque which I ate with cold Tomato juice. After dinner I began putting on layers of wool, as the fire was almost exhausted. And I was far and farther away from the heat in the kitchen where I wrote and played, and in bed where I read and slept.

I am in Winter and tree-planting and I can't wait to leave. Maybe I will go away from the cold and start living in California. But Saskatoon is holding my leash. I have to find other work and that is a bummer. I need to eat and sleep here.

When will I stop talking about New Zealand? Work, Work, Work, Work, Work, Volunteer!
