» WELL-SEASONED WISDOM OF LINDA J. BROWN

Traveling through the years gives one just as much to say as logging many miles out there on the road. And, when you've done both, welllll, that really adds up. It's 72 & counting! Pop on over to my personal blogsite at heyboomers.com, someday. I'm a world-class backpacker, but I'm not on the road all the time. At home, I write and philosophize. So, why don't you just grab a cup of tea and join me any time!

About Travel Blogs

What is a travel blog?
A travel blog is a website that you can update from any cybercafe in the world. You can add your stories and digital photos whenever you want. Send the travel blog address (URL) to family and friends, who will be able to see how you are and what you're doing, and even leave their own messages and thoughts about what you've written.

Why should I get one?
Maybe the better question is, why wouldn't you get one? Travel blogs are a great way to keep in touch with your friends and family, without having to remember a million e-mail addresses. There's no awkward, "Hey everyone" to start off a mass e-mail, and you don't have to spam the ones who don't want to hear from you every week. Travelblogs are particularly great for RTW travelers. Just keep your site updated and your mother can sleep well at night, knowing you are safe this week, laying out on the white beaches of some tiny island off the Thai coast.

I want to blog! Now what?
It's really simple to get started. Sign-up here and you'll be blogging in about 30 seconds. If you're a BootsnAll member, your blog URL will match your display name on the message boards. If you're not a BootsnAll member, you can still get you own blog - you just won't be as cool!
