Sorry...so I know it seems as if I have fallen off the face of the earth...but really I have only been out on the lonely seas! Difficult to keep in touch landing in a port for only 6 hours sometimes...but here is a fast update as to where I have been in the last month and a half since I last checked in!

So I can't believe I am going on the Peace Boat again....and that it leaves tomorrow!!!!!! AGHHHH...I must finish so many things!

Sorry...I slacked in the last country I was in and now I must frantically try to redeem myself and catch up on this blog!

What can I say about Cambodia but that I absolutely loved it!

Hello everyone. Thank you all for your concern...just wanted to officially say to everyone that I AM FINE!!!!! I was in Vietnam during the earthquake and subsequent tsunamis. I am fine. However, I am worried for some of the various travelers who I have met along the way... some of which I traveled with for a day or so, others I just talked to over breakfast, and some I even traveled with for a week. Many of whom I did not exchange email addresses with, little more than just our first names...however, so many people I met were going down to the islands or beaches of Thailand for Christmas and New Years. I am concerned for them all. I might never know if they are O.K. So thank you for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers, I am fine. Those who I have met along the way are still in my thoughts and prayers too.

Wow...if I was using a credit card, it would be on fire by now! The shopping Hoi An is amazing! I think I just bought a whole new wardrobe!

So after swearing that I would not get on one of the motorbikes in the last two countries...I finally made the jump into being a biker chick! And why didn't I do it before...I was sooo much fun!

Just walk slowly and make your moves predictable! Yeah right...then just step out in front of all the motorbikes that are barreling down the road and hope that they will swerve to avoid you! But seriously that is what you must do to cross the road here in Vietnam! It is absolute mayhem...and that is what is so fun about it!

Hello!!!! And Merry Christmas to everyone. Just spending Christmas in Halong Bay!

Left Luang Prabang the other day...and quite sad too because I left my travel partner, roommate from the Peace Boat, and good friend Nicola! And it was my birthday...and hers in two more days. But at any rate I took a small van down to Vang Vieng.

"Sabaideeeeeee!" Shouts every little child at you as you sail through the Laos countryside in the back of a songthaew or on a bike! They come chasing after you with the biggest smiles I have ever seen and keep waving either until their hands fall off or you can't see them any more! It puts a smile on my face everytime I see this!
