I have actually just started this trip, so this isn't strictly pre-trip but it will serve as an explanation to the trip.

I am off travelling again, this time for three months with my friend Howard. Our basic plan is to piece our way across the USA and Canada. We will drive, by renting or buying and taking buses on this coast to coast road trip.

The idea is flexibility. We fly into Miami and out of San Francisco and the rest gets made up as we go along...
