socal meets Portland

Hey all,

Ok, where do I start.....I've looked all of Sean's cabinets, took the bna HQ tour, nearly froze during the night, for which I turned up the heat and everyone was mad at me in the a.m. (sorry, but it was a survival thing, and I thought my life was being threatened!), learned Joe E. DOES NOT put the seat cover down, had breakfast at the famous Tin Shed. Great breakfast. Sean had his traditional burrito that was pretty big and he made noises to let everyone know he was throughly enjoying it. I went to the Portland Saturday Market with Heather, Court and Phillip. Very nice, all bought many things, I was amazed at how many different handicrafts were represented at the marketplace. Portland is very hippy, bohemian (sp?) place, with tofu for breakfast and organic food everywhere. The only thing I bought as some pink grapefruit bath salts which I plan to use upon my return home on Sunday.

Many thanks to Court for hanging back with the old lady (me) on the walk back (which was supposed to be 15 mins, turned into 45 mins with light rain and cold) WARNING: DO NOT TRUST SEAN WHEN HE SAYS IT IS A 15 MINS WALK!

Let me say a word about Court. I've never met a 21 yo who is so smart, well traveled and nice. She a girl with bright future ahead of her, especially cause she can do extraordinary things with her tongue. (see last nights pics) It was cool to meet her, cause like I told her I probably won't get to MN anytime soon (if ever). Thank for coming Court!

Heather, whom I kept calling Stephanie for some reason came from Oklahoma. I found out today from here she starts a 8 day snowboarding trip. Is that sweet or what?? Wow, I never met a girll snowboarder before (new experiences). She is also very smart and of course well traveled. I definately am a travel amateur compared to these people. Heather has a beautiful smile and is fun to be around. Heather (or Stephanie) you Rock!

I met Jen Leo for the first time last night. She is a somewhat CRAZY girl! And when I say crazy, I mean funloving, funny and great to be around. I watched her get on her hands and knees to take a pic. of her posing like she was drinking out of Mavis (the dog)'s water dish. Not sure what that really was about but pretty wild none the less. You can tell she's been friends with Sean, Joe E. and Phillip for a really long time and it shows. I'm glad I met her, she is cool people. I'm hoping to win her book tonight at the party. (ok, I'm cheap, but you all knew that already!)

Phillip is well........what can I say........shocking at times, always funny with a weird British sense of humor, has beautiful eyes and what I can gather a devoted father. He talked about his son all day.

ok, they rushing me to get ready for the party.

More later. Thinking of all the bna family that weren't able to make it tonight.

Cheers,

Socalgirl
