I am now more or less back in my own mind after being held down and forced to drink - I mean, what were they thinking about....

Spent a chilly walk around Portland amusing the locals and doing my bit for the economy...

My overall thoughts, beyond I am never drinking again, are that Bootsnall is far far more than I ever understood and I am awe of the folks here - it kinda gives me hope for the future...

One continuing topic of conversation, apart from my hangover, has been how travel broardens the mind and how we should be encouraging as many people to hit the road...however I just know that when my son is old enough to go travelling I am going to be worried sick - let's hope he has his mother's sense and not mine..

Kinda chlling now getting ready for tonight - which is very exciting - as I cant wait to meet everyone.
