Day 3 München

Hallo everyone from Deutschland!

I had a good today, between bartering with merchants for a new pair of sandals and exploring more of München, the day was still swell. I decided to visit the Dachau Concentration Camp today, and it was quite sobering to say the least. After watching the documentary film they show on the grounds, I was nearly in tears. It is a sad, sad testament to how vicious, cruel, and ignorant human beings can be.

Other than that, Im having a good time. Ive recovered from my jet lag and am set on heading to Salzburg Austria tommorrow. From there Ill check out the sites and probably hit up the clubs or something. Maybe use my crappy German skills to engage in a conversation with a Fraulein or two. Heck yes, in fact Ive already done that many times already. Its awesome, I was trying out my German to its extent on the train today with an older lady sitting next to me. It was awesome, I am having the best time in Deutschland. Each new day, I meet more and more cool outgoing travelers much like myself. In fact, I will probably never forget Wan and Teyson from Korea, nor will they probably forget me. Although, I have decided to pretty much wing everything and check out most things on my own. I still find it extremely simple to hook up with another backpacker and tour the city with them. In fact, I find that deciding to go it alone in Europe was the best decision that Ive made in a long time. Well, I better wind down and stop typing now, otherwise Ill end up getting all philosophical or something.

Bis bald,
Jimmy
