With the end of Hajj rapidly approaching, we needed to find someplace to go to get out of Riyadh. Like after Ramadan, we've got about a week off. Unlike after Ramadan, we have an increased threat level, and we're not allowed to drive anywhere. So that eliminates any Empty Quarter trips. Therefore, we decided to fly to Oman. It's not too far, and it's a place we've not been before.

I'll be out of touch for a few days, then, but should be able to get in to update the blog a bit, and may be able to add a few pictures of what we see there. So, stay tuned...
