Last Entry from SF

I've waited until the absolutely last possible minute to pack up my computer and haul it off to my storage space, but finally, this is the last possible minute.

In just about 48 hours, I'll be getting on a plane to Houston, and then on to Lima! I can hardly believe this is really, truly, finally happening. I'm getting really excited (finally! I've been wondering when the excitement would kick in) and can hardly think straight right now. It's hard getting the last few things done when my mind is so scattered!

I guess I don't even have that much to say right now--my mind is racing. But please visit this site often, leave comments, sign up to be notified when I update, and keep in touch! I promise to post new entries pretty often and even respond to personal emails when I have a chance.

And...I'm off! Next entry from Peru...

Amy, I've followed your posts on Yahoo RTW as we both saw our departure dates come close. We are going in roughly opposite directions (my last stop before returning back to LA will be Lima), so I am hoping that your posts will be helpful to me when I do get to S. America. Have a wonderful trip. Big adventure for us all!
